Andrew S. Kowalczyk III joined the Ward Arcuri Law Firm in 2025. With more than 44 years of legal experience, Andy brings deep knowledge and practical insight to clients in banking, business, corporate, commercial lending, and real estate matters.
Before joining the Ward Arcuri Law Firm, Andy was a partner of the Kowalczyk Law Firm, a family firm founded by his grandfather, Andrew S. Kowalczyk, and continued by his father and partner, Andrew S. Kowalczyk, Jr. After completing law school, Andy returned to Utica, New York, where he continued the family tradition of legal service and built a practice focused on helping individuals, businesses, and financial institutions navigate complex transactions and legal issues.

Professional and Community Involvement
Andy serves on the Board of Directors of NBT Bank, N.A., and the Board of Directors of NBT Bancorp, Inc., where he has been a director since 2010 and 2016, respectively. He previously served on the NBT Bank Advisory Board from 2006 to 2010.
Andy currently serves on the Mohawk Valley Health System Board of Trustees.

Personal
Andy resides in Utica, New York, with his wife, Marilyn. He has four daughters and three grandchildren. Outside of his legal practice, Andy enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and spending time with his family.
Andy practices out of the Firm’s Utica location.
