In an effort to bolster national security, starting January 1, 2024, the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) will require companies in the U.S. to file information about their “Beneficial Owner(s)” with the U.S. Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
